This is often the first question our customers ask us - and it's a good one. The price of a private catamaran cruise in Greece depends on a number of factors. Here's a clear guide to what you pay and what you can expect as extras.
Basic rate: boat and skipper
At Voguéo, the weekly rate includes hire of the Lagoon 52 Flybridge and the services of your professional skipper. The boat is delivered with all navigation equipment, safety equipment, pleasure equipment (paddle, masks, snorkels, dinghy) and linen.
Our prices vary according to the season:
- Low season (April-May and October) from €7,000/week
- June 10,000/week
- July-August 15,000/week
- September 12,000/week
These prices are for the whole boat - up to 10 people. On a per person basis for a group of 8, this represents less than €200/day per person, skipper and boat included.
Extras to plan for
Fuel
Diesel is billed according to actual engine consumption, at around €10 per engine hour. The cost depends entirely on your navigation choices: a crew that sails and anchors in creeks will consume very little. A crew that prefers to go fast and uses the engine a lot will consume more.
Delivery costs
Anchoring in a wild cove is free - and often the best option in Greece. When you choose to enter a port, expect to pay around €20 per night for a communal port. Marinas are more expensive and vary greatly depending on the island and the season.
In practice, many of our customers combine a few nights in port with several nights at anchor - which keeps port charges very reasonable.
Food and drink
This is the most variable and most personal item. At Voguéo, we give you total freedom on this point:
- Stand-alone option You do your shopping before departure and cook on board - the Lagoon 52's galley is perfectly equipped for this.
- Restaurant option Dining ashore in Greek tavernas every evening - often the best way to discover the islands.
- Chef on board option Meals on board: we can organise the services of a chef or hostess for meals on board - on request and subject to availability.
Most of our customers opt for a mix of breakfast and lunch on board, with dinner ashore.
What is your total budget?
To give you a concrete idea, here is an example for a group of 8 people in June:
- Boat hire + skipper: between €7,000 and €15,000
- Estimated fuel: €300-500
- Postage (3 nights): €60
- Food and restaurants: your choice
Either between 7 400 à 15 600 € for the boat, excluding food - between 105 and €220 per person per day (depending on the season), including skipper and Lagoon 52.
