General Booking Conditions - VOGUÉO

1. Scope of the Conditions

These conditions govern the terms and conditions for booking our Lagoon 52 catamaran. They complete the official charter contract (Charter Party) which will be signed by the parties in accordance with Greek maritime legislation.

2. Booking and Payment Conditions

• Deposit : Reservations are confirmed on receipt of a deposit of 50% of the cost of the service.
• Balance : The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before boarding.
• Default of payment : If the balance is not paid within the agreed period, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit will be retained by the Hirer.

3. Security deposit

• Amount and purpose : A security deposit of 3 000 € is payable before embarkation. Although the presence of a professional skipper limits the risks associated with sailing, this deposit guarantees compensation for damage caused to the ship, its interior fittings or its appendages, resulting from the fault or negligence of passengers.
• Restitution : This sum is refunded within a period of 15 days after the end of the cruise, after deduction of any costs for repairs or missing equipment.

4. APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance)

• How it works : To cover variable costs during the cruise, an advance on expenses (APA) of 20% of the rental price is payable with the balance.
• Expenses covered : The APA is used exclusively to pay for fuel, port charges, local taxes and provisions (food/drinks).
• Supporting documents : The skipper keeps an accurate account. The balance is reimbursed to the Hirer at the end of the stay, or a supplement is invoiced if the actual expenditure exceeds the advance.

5. Cancellation

• More than 60 days before departure: Full refund (excluding administration costs).
• Between 30 and 60 days before departure: The 50% deposit is retained.
• Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of the total amount is due.

6. Skipper's authority and safety

The Skipper is solely responsible for safety. His decisions concerning the itinerary and safety on board take precedence over all other considerations. No compensation will be paid if the itinerary is changed due to weather conditions.

7. Insurance and liability

The vessel is insured, but this insurance does not replace passengers' personal liability or travel insurance. Damage caused by negligence (e.g. blocked toilets, burns) is the responsibility of the Hirer.
