Internal Regulations - VOGUÉO

  1. Welcome aboard

We are delighted to welcome you on this cruise to Greece. To ensure your safety, comfort and the longevity of the ship, please observe the following rules.

  1. Life on deck (Exterior)
  • Shoes : The golden rule. Bare feet or deck shoes with white soles (non-marking) only. Street shoes must be removed before boarding and stored in the designated spaces.
  • Sun Protection : Please always use towels on sunbeds and outside cushions when applying sun cream or oil to avoid indelible stains on the teak or upholstery.
  • Tobacco : For safety and odour reasons, smoking is strictly prohibited inside. Smoking is tolerated at the stern of the boat, downwind, in agreement with the other passengers and using the ashtrays provided.
  1. Use of Cabins and Interiors
  • Marine toilets (The critical point) : Do not flush anything down the toilet (toilet paper, sanitary napkins or wipes). Only use the bins provided. Marine pipes are very narrow; any blockage requiring technical intervention will be charged to passengers.
  • Windows : Please do not tamper with the portholes when sailing without the skipper's permission, to avoid any accidental ingress of water.
  • Eau Douce : Although the Lagoon 52 is equipped with a watermaker, fresh water remains a precious resource at sea. Please use it sparingly when showering.
  1. Energy, Air Conditioning and Generators
  • Airco management : For the sake of the environment and silence at anchor, please turn off the air conditioning in your cabin or saloon as soon as you leave the room.
  • Lighting : Remember to turn off unused lights.
  • Generator : Responsible energy management means the generator runs for less time, giving you and your mooring neighbours more peace and quiet.
  1. Safety and Navigation (Skipper's Authority)
  • Skipper's authority : The skipper is the sole master on board when it comes to safety and navigation. His decisions on routes, manoeuvres and anchorages are final and not subject to appeal, as they are dictated by the safety of the boat and its passengers.
  • Safety at sea : The wearing of a lifejacket may be required at the skipper's request.
  • Annex (Dinghy) : The use of the dinghy is strictly reserved for the skipper or is carried out under his direct supervision.
  1. Respect for the Crew
  • Relations on board : If you have chosen the option with Skipper and/or Hostess, they are seafaring professionals there to ensure your safety and comfort. They are not slaves to the customer, but your hosts. Basic courtesy and mutual respect are the basis of a successful atmosphere.
  • Private Area : Please respect their rest periods and access to their private areas.
  1. Children on board
  • Monitoring : Children remain under the constant supervision and exclusive responsibility of their parents at all times.
  • Baby-sitting option : For your peace of mind, a "Baby-sitter" option can be added (on request) to help you look after the youngest passengers during the cruise.
  1. Respect for the environment and others
    • Pollution : Nothing must be thrown into the sea (plastics, cigarette ends, food).
    • Noise pollution : Please respect the peace and quiet of other boats when mooring, especially after 10pm.
